Really lovely Neapolitan-style pizza, with a great regular menu and interesting specials. I also particularly appreciate that you can get all the pizzas in a smaller size - they call it the kid's size but it's also perfect for an only slightly hungry grown-up (and they're never weird about adults ordering it).
We visited the Italian bakery today, and I can say the pizza was delicious and the prices are really good!, I'm happy to have good pizza and a restaurant around Higham Hill! The service was amazing Thank you!
Amazing place for a lunch under 10. Their 9 inch pizza is delicious. Authentic ingredients and crispy dough made of caputo flour. I ate here a few times already and I will be back to taste all of their pizzas. My favourite so far was pizza with pork fennel sausage. The Sicilian blood orange drink was a great accompaniment to my meal.
We always order lasagnas via Deliveroo but we are super happy that The Italian Bakery has a new place. We went today there and enjoyed a lovely Burrata salad and delicious Neapolitan style pizzas. I absolutely love this place: the food is incredible, the service superb and it is so nice to see your locals grow.
A proper local gem! The pizza is fantastic, the produce from the deli is great (where else will you get guanciale for your carbonara locally?) and the service is genuinely friendly. It is always a pleasure to visit. Make sure you try the tiramisu (pistachio or regular, both are great).
Best Croissant you will ever eat. Focaccia is out of this world and the most friendly experience.
Unbelievably good, authentic Italian pizza. I'm not from this area, but will recommend it to anyone that comes this way. Surprisingly cheap for such a good pizza, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. I hope to return before I leave my visit.
Lovely experience eating in after they changed their location - I’m glad things are working better here. Service was excellent as always, pizzas taste better than before as are served on a plate - not a pizza box - and the vibe was great. You can tell it’s going to prosper.
